A Girl Eating Lettuce

November 1, 2017:

When she is hungry
A girl needs her lettuce
Well, maybe not

I had to pee, so I went to the bathroom, only to discover that I had my boxers on backwards. What the heck, I thought, I could sit. So I did. And while sitting, I coulda changed it, you know, took them off and put ‘em on frontwards, but it was just too much trouble.

Fiery cloud over the Truckee River

In the late evening
Just before the sun goes down
The skies are alive

Some Eggs to be Scrambled

Three large eggs, six yolks
Beat them well, scramble them up
And some bacon and—

Our Christmas Photo

November 11, 2013:

Were We Hot or What?

The sunglasses we’re wearing are hard to get. They were discontinued when an Italian company bought Revo about thirty years ago. But I haunt eBay, always checking, and every now and then I find a pair. And when I do, I gotta buy ‘em, because sadly, they don’t last forever. They’re made of glass and when you drop them on pavement, they break.

That explains the glasses, but what about that silvery stuff around our heads? Do we look silly or what? Vesta wanted to take our Christmas picture this year with Devon in Lithia Park, in Ashland, Oregon. This isn’t our Christmas picture. I guess you could call it an outtake. We were sorta messing around and Devon came up with this idea.

It’s a good thing I don’t mind stupid pictures of me. Vesta and Devon, on the other hand, don’t think it’s silly or stupid. They think it’s cute.

Yep, that’s us, cute.

Sunrise over the ocean

November 28, 2017:

Vesta and I were on the Huntington Beach Pier, to watch the sunrise, when we spied this couple viewing it from the ocean below. What an interesting and wonderful place to begin the day.
